Q: Is this app really free? What's the catch?
A: Yep it's free, and there's no catch. We don't track you, don't steal your data and especailly don't show ads.
That being said, the app has the option to leave a tip, if you want to support us! Look for the fancy gift icon :-)

Q: Why do my widgets have an "AppList." label at the bottom?
A: Make sure to use Large icons in the homescreen Customize menu, more about it here.
Q: I upgraded to iOS 26 and now my widgets have a glass contour (instead of nicely merging with the dark background). Is that a bug?
A: At the time of this writing, there's no way to disable this new glass contour. I contacted Apple about it and waiting for a response 🤞

A: See additional steps below.

All of SXP Studio's apps have a simple Privacy Policy:
WE DO NOT COLLECT YOUR DATA. That's it.

Q: I have a Suggestion / Bug Report / Question
A: AppList. is a one-person project with only optional donations/tips, as such support is relatively limited. That being said you are still welcome to reach out directly by sending an email. Some features got implemented thanks to community feedback!
Q: Does something happen if I give you a tip with the in-app purchase?
A: First of all, thank you for considering to donate! This is how the project is kept alive so it's greatly appreciated. As to what happens if you give a tip, there's no difference in terms of functionality... but there might indeed be a small bonus easter egg 👀

There are two types of URLs that you can use:
- Universal Link: Some apps define a URL that will automatically open their app, for example if you have the Airbnb app installed on your phone and you open
https://www.airbnb.comin your browser, the native app should automatically open. - URL Schemes: Prior to universal links, apps would sometimes define custom schemes that trigger actions. For example Apple Music can be opened by opening
music://in your browser. - IMPORTANT: Note that not all apps support Universal Links / URL Schemes. You will need to do your own research & testing.
